1. Boating Picnic
Bring your family or friends for an evening on the Tred Avon River with Coard Benson aboard ‘Drifter’, a Custom Bay-built 46’ Markley finished as a Yacht Cruiser. All the amenities of home are onboard to entertain your family and friends. You can cruise up the river or step out to the bay, your cruise and your party. Picnic fare and libations of your choice. Party for 10 departing Bachelor Point at 4pm for a 4 hour tour

2. Lunch and Tomato Tasting at Cottingham Farm
Enjoy a Lunch featuring Cottingham Farm's selection of organic heirloom tomatoes and other certified organic produce and pastured animals. You already know the difference heirloom tomatoes make...now taste that difference in many other vegetables as well. Before lunch, enjoy music and refreshing beverages on the Point and a sampling of distinct heirloom tomatoes - smoky Black Seaman, Cherokee Green, Gold Dust, Grandfather Ashlock and many more. After lunch, those who are interested can take a tour of all or some of the tomato high tunnels, production fields, Pig Heaven nestled in the meadow and woods beyond the pond, and the environmental conservation measures implemented on the farm - a shallow emergent wetland with observation blind, riparian tree and shrub buffers, and warm season grass buffers and filter strips surrounding all food production.

4. Beer, Toast & Taste
Toast the coming of autumn with a special tasting of fine local microbrew beers from the RAR brewery in Cambridge. Tasty appetizers will inspire a strong thirst. Tour the property of Ryan and Vanessa Goold on the Wye East River and engage in outdoor leisure activities such as badminton, kayaking, or reclining in a hammock.

5. Classic Crab Feast on Hope Creek
Grab your wooden mallet and enjoy the best of the Bay! Rick Scobey and Bruce Ragsdale are laying on a traditional crab feast with all the fixings -- crabs straight from the steamer, corn and tomatoes from a nearby farm, coleslaw, potato salad, chips, and lots of beer. Wear your jeans, catch up with friends, and enjoy the views of Hope Creek, as you crack open some jimmies. And for those who lose stamina --there will also be hot dogs and hamburgers to tide them over!

6. Kayak and Appetizers
Eight eager kayakers will enjoy a serene kayak adventure on the Tred Avon River. Starting at historic Old Bloomfield, built in 1692, we will venture up the river and explore the scenic shoreline with talented guide and outdoorsman Dirck Bartlett. Beverages and appetizers will be provided as will kayaks, lifejackets and other gear.

10. Swirl and Sip: Alexander Valley Vineyards Wine Tasting

13. Historic Estates of the Miles River
Enjoy a stunning gourmet dinner provided by Wayne and Jody at Holly Gate overlooking the Miles, while hearing from local historian, Pete Lesher, about the grand estates along the Miles River. Pete serves as chief curator of CBMM, and serves as chairman of the St. Michaels Historic District Commission. In his spare time he takes particular pleasure in his role as jib tender on one of the Chesapeake Bay sailing log canoes, the 1882-built Island Bird.

14. Woodstock on the Miles
Peace, love and rock & roll! Please join us for a nostalgic bell-bottom buffet. Hark back to the ‘sixties for cocktails and dinner (brownies for dessert!) with the Beatles, Grateful Dead, etc. as background music. For those who want to continue to get their groove on, we will be showing highlights of Woodstock after dinner. Bring stories of what you were doing in the ‘sixties (if you can remember) and dress accordingly. Everyone will go home with a tie-dyed T-shirt made by my flower children Emma and Fiona. Please include shirt size when signing up. Your host will be in tie-dye.

15. Rio de Rapaces Brunch Overlooking the Wye
Enjoy a delicious brunch at the home of Phillip Walker and Cheryl Tritt on the Wye River followed by an engaging presentation on the “River of Raptors”, a spot in the Siearra Madre mountain range where nearly all of the migrating raptors from North America funnel through, creating the largest concentration of migrating birds in the world. Richly illustrated with photographs of the birds, butterflies and scenery of Mexico, Hugh Simmons, photographer and birder from Phoenix, Maryland takes you along on this bucket-list trip.
